These examinations allow for an assessment of the horse’s health status at the time of purchase. They provide an overview of the horse’s potential uses and a prognosis for the development of its health during its sporting career. The basis of the examination is a very thorough clinical examination based on extensive knowledge and experience. This examination includes: a general examination of all systems, an eye examination, a movement examination of the horse on various types of surfaces combined with bending tests, an exertion test to determine the condition of the heart and respiratory system, including endoscopy for signs of wheezing asthma. Additionally, standard procedure involves obtaining digital X-ray images with immediate interpretation and evaluation. We take a complete series of X-rays illustrating the most commonly occurring changes. The scope of the examination and the number of images can be reduced or expanded according to customer preferences. There is the possibility to immediately save the images on a CD and send them via email. Upon completion of the examination, the client receives a detailed examination report.
